About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  1. Curriculum Development: Preparing and updating curriculum frameworks, assessment documentation, policy statements, booklists, scopes and sequences, and subject descriptors.
  2. Staff Allocation and Support: Assisting teachers with classroom management, pedagogy, schedules, and assessments, while allocating staff and students to classes.
  3. Assessment Oversight: Overseeing assessment quality, benchmarking, report structures, and exam administration, including paper preparation, entering results, and determining awards.
  4. Professional Representation: Representing the drama program at professional meetings and promoting best practices in Occupational Health and Safety.
  5. Resource Management: Overseeing teaching rooms, equipment, and resources, recommending new purchases, and collaborating with the Library to enhance resource availability.
  6. Production Leadership: Leading Senior School productions by directing and producing shows, promoting cohesion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Drama education.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage academic and production schedules.
