We seek a visionary educator to oversee our esteemed Drama and Theatre program, providing an exceptional learning environment where students excel academically and creatively.
Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Development: Design, implement, and refine curriculum frameworks, assessment strategies, and policy documents that foster academic excellence.
- Staff and Student Allocation: Collaborate with department heads to allocate teachers and students, ensuring effective classroom management and pedagogy.
- Assessment Oversight: Ensure the highest standards of assessment quality, benchmarking, and reporting, including exam administration and result processing.
- Professional Representation: Represent the department at professional meetings, promoting best practices in occupational health and safety.
- Resource Management: Oversee drama teaching rooms, equipment, and resources, recommending purchases and collaborations with the library to enhance availability.
- Production Leadership: Direct and produce Senior School productions, fostering cohesion, professionalism, and a passion for drama, theatre studies, and dance.
