ICT Project Officer Role

Job Summary:

  • Support the implementation of ICT projects from conception to delivery, involving planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Manage procurement submissions and contract administration in line with Commonwealth guidelines.
  • Oversee project finances, encompassing budgeting, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate asset management activities, including deployments and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word (templates), Excel (financial tracking), PowerPoint (executive briefings), Project (schedule analysis).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in ICT project delivery within Government environments.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and asset management.
  • Familiarity with Government financial and asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement and finance frameworks.
