As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Speech Pathologists to deliver high-quality patient-centred care. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare sector while developing your skills and expertise.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team as a Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistant. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to Speech Pathologists in delivering treatment to adult inpatients and outpatients. You will also assist clinicians with non-clinical tasks, including data entry and auditing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver treatment (including education) to adult inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Speech Pathologist
  2. Support projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of Speech Pathology patient care
  3. Provide compassionate assistance to families with babies admitted to hospital
  4. Liaise with hospital departments to coordinate services with Speech Pathology
About You
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, especially in multidisciplinary settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance and previous experience in a similar position.
