About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Claim Coordinator. This is a permanent full-time position based in Geelong with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week once you've completed training.

The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and managing challenging situations. They will thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others. The role involves guiding and supporting people through their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims – across Medical Management, RTW and Maximising Capacity teams.
  • Demonstrate a service-oriented approach focused on early intervention and the interests of workers and employers.
  • Ensure active and timely strategies are implemented to improve recovery and return to work outcomes.
  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and engage appropriate support services like Mobile Case Management or Occupational Rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with the broader team and WorkSafe to foster positive outcomes for injured workers.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have held roles within a medical, hospitality, retail or corporate field specialising in customer service. You will pride yourself on giving an exceptional level of service to your customers and be willing to go that extra mile.

You will be proactive, self-motivated and able to think on your feet when engaging and managing stakeholders throughout the process. You will also be organised with excellent time management.
