**Job Summary:**

The Compliance Analyst role is responsible for supporting and managing the delivery of regulatory affairs by interacting with internal and external stakeholders. This includes maintaining and continually imbedding compliance frameworks within the business, identifying opportunities and areas where the compliance framework can be advanced, and providing analysis and advice on general compliance and regulatory matters.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively working to maintain and continually imbed compliance frameworks within the business
  • Identify opportunities and areas in which the compliance framework can be advanced
  • Provide analysis and advice on general compliance and regulatory matters
  • Lead internal questionnaires, collate and interpret results to adhere to the regulatory obligations on an annual basis
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and implement new regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate compliance reviews and prepare reporting for a range of internal stakeholders and committees

**Requirements:**

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong experience in a compliance analyst role within the energy sector
  • Excellent stakeholder management communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulated Australian energy environment and relevant regulators
