Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD software to design and draft sprinkler system plans efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop sprinkler system layouts, hydraulic calculations, and specifications that adhere to industry standards.
  • Ensure all designs are compliant with AS2118 sprinkler codes and relevant industry regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential data for design purposes.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, documentation, and reports that meet project requirements.
  • Assist in project coordination, including material procurement and client communication effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure high-quality designs.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Wet fire design accreditation or certification.
  • Proven experience in sprinkler system design and development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must-have skill.
  • Familiarity with Revit software is an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS2118 sprinkler codes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in design work is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
