We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Systems Design Engineer to join our design team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering top-class fire protection systems for landmark projects in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design fire systems to Australian standards, NCC, and project-specific requirements.
  • Manage the full design process from concept through to construction documentation.
  • Prepare layouts, schematics, and hydraulic calculations using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Coordinate with BIM teams, consultants, builders, and certifiers.
  • Provide design support and technical input throughout project delivery.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of fire system design experience in commercial or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience on Tier One construction projects.
  • FPAS Design (Fire Systems) accreditation or Diploma of Fire Systems Design – essential.
  • Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and NSW regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit & hydraulic software experience (Hyena/SprinkCAD) desirable.
