About the Role
We are seeking experienced and passionate nurses to join our Emergency Department team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent health outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate and provide hands-on nursing care, supervision, education, direction, and support for Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their healthcare, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Post-Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards).
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Basic computer skills.
