Digital Learning Lead

Role Description:

The Centre for Learning and Teaching at Edith Cowan University is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the implementation of key learning technologies under the Curriculum Transformation Programme. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications or be progressing towards postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, accompanied by extensive management expertise.

The successful applicant will design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate pedagogically-sound programmes and resources that inspire adult learners through various delivery modes and models, focusing on technology-enhanced and online learning. They will also design and deliver professional learning programmes in generative artificial intelligence to enhance the learning experience and digital productivity.

The role requires strong presentation and facilitation skills, proven ability to collaborate with and influence different levels of academic and professional staff, as well as developing and managing projects in response to organisational needs.

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (typically: Education, Instructional Design), and extensive relevant or proven management expertise;
  • Experience in successfully designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating pedagogically-sound programmes and resources;
  • Ability to design and deliver professional learning programmes in generative artificial intelligence;
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Demonstrated record of success in developing and implementing strategies in a multi-campus large organisational context.
