About The Role

You will join a passionate team to schedule charter work and coordinate the day-to-day operations of drivers and vehicles. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all driver enquiries received through various channels regarding charter movements, route planning, rostering, driver availability, and operational matters.
  2. Schedule school runs, charters, and route services based on customer requirements and execute them on time, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  3. Monitor daily charter allocations and vehicle movements to identify potential service failures and take corrective action to mitigate any issues.
  4. Resolve operational shortfalls caused by delays, incidents, or breakdowns by reallocation or sourcing additional resources, minimizing disruptions to service.
  5. Roster drivers according to competency and availability, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient use of personnel.
  6. Assist with the coordination of scheduled vehicle repair & maintenance based on asset availability and charter demand, ensuring minimal downtime for critical services.
  7. Provide a monthly report detailing any shortfalls to key performance indicators and associated remedial action, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  8. Carry out retrospective service audits and historical data analysis to identify areas for improvement in the cost-effective delivery of high-level service, driving continuous process refinement.

Experience Needed

To excel in this role, you will require:

  1. 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with industry-specific knowledge.
  2. Able to apply an understanding of Industry Awards and operating financials to the execution of work.
  3. Sound geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.
  4. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve, thinking creatively to resolve complex issues.
  6. Advanced computer literacy, with proficiency in relevant software applications.
