Job Title: Specialist Instrumental Brass Tutor

We are seeking an experienced music educator to join our team as a Specialist Instrumental Brass Tutor. This is a part-time contract position, commencing as soon as possible or at the beginning of Term 4.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching upper and lower brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, tuba & french horn) to students in Year 5 & 6 immersion program alongside individual private instrumental lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instrumental music instruction to assist each child to reach their full potential and help build a culture of excellence in Instrumental Music.
  • Deliver individual and group lessons.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through weekly lesson sheets.
  • Hold a current suitability 'Blue Card'.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching upper and lower brass instruments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
