We are seeking an experienced Specialist Instrumental Brass Tutor to join the Music Department at the College.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Instrumental Brass Tutor to join the Music Department at the College, commencing as soon as possible or at the beginning of Term 4. The position will commence with 2 days per week with the possibility of increasing. The prospective candidate must be proficient teaching across upper and lower brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, tuba & french horn) and be confident to leading small groups within the Year 5 & 6 immersion program alongside individual private instrumental lessons. Student numbers determining lesson loads are subject to enrolment requests.

Must be available on a Wednesday for immersion and then another day of choice.

The Instrumental Tutor is expected to:

• Provide a high level of instrumental music expertise to assist each child to reach their full potential and to help build a culture of excellence in Instrumental Music.
• Provide individual and group lessons
• Provide ongoing feedback to parents in the form of weekly lesson sheets
• A current suitability "Blue Card" is necessary.
