As an Asset Systems Coordinator, you will lead and manage the Asset Systems team to develop and implement best practice asset management systems, processes, and solutions for transport and stormwater infrastructure in accordance with Council's Asset Management Policy, Strategy, and Plans.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring all appropriate actions are taken to implement health and safety policy and procedures satisfying legislative requirements
- Regularly monitoring health and safety performance in your area of responsibility
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Conducting accident/incident investigations
- Liaising with Health and Safety representatives on workplace health and safety issues
- Improving health and safety performance through work orders and other asset-related data collection devices and software
- Undertaking regular inspections to identify hazards
- Attending health and safety meetings

Required skills and qualifications include:

1. Tertiary qualifications in asset management, information technology, or another relevant discipline recognized by Australian professional institutes
2. Well-developed project management, procurement, and contract management skills successfully utilized in delivering asset management systems and improvements
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling collaboration within a multi-disciplined team environment and engaging stakeholders
4. Knowledge of public sector financial management and budgetary processes
