Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Assessment Specialist

This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments in collaboration with mental health clinicians, providing integrated discharge planning for complex patients and carers with a Dual Diagnosis, and ensuring coordinated care and support before discharge.

The incumbent will lead the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice, provide education and management guidance to healthcare professionals, contribute to research, and offer professional leadership.

Key responsibilities include working alongside mental health clinicians and community stakeholders across mental health, drug and alcohol, and general health to improve patient outcomes.

As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare professionals and developing policies and procedures related to Drug and Alcohol services.
