Job Title: Environmental Risk Manager
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage environmental risks and ensure the health and safety of our community.
About the Role:- This role involves managing contaminated land risks, providing expert technical advice, and contributing to strategic planning and operational activities.
- Environmental Risk Management: Develop, implement, and maintain oversight of environmental risk management frameworks and registers for land under care and control.
- Specialist Input: Contribute specialist input to capital works and on-ground projects, ensuring environmental risks are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Advice: Provide expert technical advice on reactive environmental issues, supporting both strategic planning and operational activities.
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental risk management.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing environmental risk management frameworks.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- A master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Experience with environmental risk assessments and remediation.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
