We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Quality Technical Advisor to join our team at Water Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our wastewater and reuse schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement relevant monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate non-compliances and coordinate remedial actions to prevent environmental impacts.
- Manage the Wastewater Quality Management System (WWQMS) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Support the annual environmental reporting process and identify opportunities for wastewater and biosolids reuse.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of wastewater and biosolids reuse agreements.
- Monitor the performance of regional wastewater treatment plants and review results for data integrity, variances, and trends.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as environmental science, science, engineering, or natural resource management.
- Considerable experience in wastewater management, particularly environmental impacts associated with wastewater and biosolids disposal and reuse.
- C Class driving licence.
- Substantial experience in wastewater management and delivery of water and wastewater services in a regulated environment.
- Base salary of $112,195 + super.
- Location allowance paid fortnightly as an allowance ($12,865 to $25,730 annually).
- Leave loading of 17.5%.
- Air-conditioning subsidies up to $2,572 annually.
- Additional 5 days annual leave after one year of service as stated in the 2023 Enterprise Agreement.
- Potential eligibility for remote housing assistance.
- Employee discounts and generous superannuation co-contribution scheme.
