Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team at Certis Security Australia. As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out Gatehouse Security duties at a client site in accordance with our standard orders and site instructions, in compliance with all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and direct drivers, employees, and contractors
- Confirm eligibility of persons entering site buildings as per client protocols
- Follow the direction of the client and foster a working relationship to ensure positive outcomes
- Read situations and act accordingly, with a willingness to help or intervene where necessary
- Conduct regular audits and record data of vehicle movements
- Verify paperwork and manage a fast-paced environment
- Perform site patrols, traffic management, and CCTV and Access Controls Functions
- Respond to emails and phone calls as received, and ensure site safety
- Hold a current VIC Security Licence and a Valid First Aid Certificate
- Have a Valid Driver's Licence and access to your own Vehicle
- Hold a Cert 2 In Security Operations
- Have a minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Previous experience as a Gatehouse Security Officer is highly regarded
- Be Fully Vaccinated (COVID Vaccination)
