Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Floor Coordinator to oversee the efficient running of our clinical floor. This permanent, part-time role involves managing case throughput across multiple referral disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clinicians, nursing staff, and leadership to ensure smooth scheduling and emergency management.

  • Manage case throughput and input planned procedures into the scheduling system in real-time.
  • Prioritize workload to meet patient needs and organize the clinical team's tasks accordingly.
  • Notify relevant departments of schedule changes and coordinate with the referrals administrative team for emergency and urgent cases.
  • Adjust the clinical schedule based on staffing and facility availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
  • Experience in a referral hospital setting is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to animal welfare.
  • A positive attitude and confidence in abilities.
