Are you a highly skilled mechanical engineer looking for a new challenge in the water sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior to Principal grade Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Newcastle.

The ideal candidate will have experience in detailed design within the water industry and a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles. They will also be able to lead mechanical design for infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants, conveyance systems, pumping stations and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design for infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to deliver positive project outcomes
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team

The successful candidate will have a degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject, ideally Chartered status or working toward. They will also have experience in detailed design within the water industry and a background working for/with delivery contractors would be beneficial.
