We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing all production activities, leading a team of 11 and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the production plan.
This is a permanent, full-time position working a rotating roster of 12-hour day/night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a production team to ensure service functions are performed within established timing, quality, and cost standards.
- Oversee manufacturing activities to meet or exceed quality requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation.
- Prioritize tasks based on weekly production schedules and manage daily assignments.
- Maintain a safe work environment for the team and all stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisory staff, suppliers, leaders, and technical teams regarding maintenance requirements.
- Manage incidents, emergency response, and investigations within the team and participate in significant safety investigations.
About You
- Strong leadership skills to inspire confidence within the team.
- Solid understanding of process operations, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
- Effective written and oral communication across all organizational levels.
- Strategic alignment with the organizational business plan.
- Proven commitment to safety and adherence to our safety culture.
- Lead by example to exemplify our values and behaviors.
Requirements
- Unrestricted working rights within Australia.
- Reside within 45 minutes from Kwinana, due to the 12-hour shift arrangement.
