Engineering Drafter Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill an entry-level position as an Engineering Drafter in our Electronics team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of an Engineering Drafter's day-to-day responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborating with other drafters, engineers, and production staff;
  • Creating electronic product drawings and schematics using various design software;
  • Assisting engineers in developing 3D drawing solutions to mechanical design problems;
  • Producing documentation, design records, and production packages for 'engineered to order' jobs;
  • Completing drawings for job estimates and quotations;
  • Providing technical support to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the engineering industry and electronics, as well as excellent communication skills.

Candidates should possess:

  • A completed HSC (or equivalent);
  • A Cert IV in Engineering Drafting (or working towards);
  • A proven interest in electronics;
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications;
  • A natural desire to take on new challenges.
