About the Role
The Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in the success of the Cancer Research Program (CRP) at Monash University. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the program, including managing resources, coordinating finances, and preparing essential project documentation and updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
- Provide financial support, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate and support events, including conferences, meetings, and workshops
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and other program staff
Requirements
- Strong administrative expertise and relevant qualifications or experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with clinical registries and operational processes is highly regarded
