About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client in Burnie, a leading manufacturer in their industry. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive working environment with a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install componentry for heavy mining machinery
- Undertake mechanical fitting and technical tasks
- Test assembled equipment and troubleshoot issues
- Work safely at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Diesel Mechanics, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. You will also possess strong communication and computer literacy skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine commitment to safe work practices.
