Join Our Property & Development Team

This is an exciting opportunity for a law graduate to join our Property & Development team in Melbourne. As a graduate, you will be part of a cohort across our Melbourne and Sydney offices.

  • Completed your law degree with excellent academic results;
  • Achieved strong results in property law with a genuine passion for this subject matter;
  • An ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and orally;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • An ability to understand and identify the key issues in a legal matter;
  • Good judgement and common sense;
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and
  • A passion for a career in commercial law.

The role involves working with experienced lawyers and partners on a wide range of matters, including negotiation, drafting, management and enforcement of building and development agreements. You will gain hands-on experience and practical skills tailored to launch your legal career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and contracts related to property and development matters;
  • Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues;
  • Attend client meetings and provide advice on property and development matters;
  • Work closely with the Property & Development team to ensure smooth delivery of projects;
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

As a member of our Property & Development team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop a deep understanding of commercial law. You will also benefit from real work experience and direct client contact that sets you apart from your peers in the profession.

Requirements:
