Grounds Maintenance Position

The role of Grounds Maintenance Attendant is pivotal in ensuring the park's aesthetic appeal and overall cleanliness. Key responsibilities encompass maintaining the condition and cleanliness of park facilities, performing general grounds upkeep, carrying out repairs and routine maintenance tasks on park accommodation and facilities, managing and maintaining park equipment and tools, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols, and responding promptly to guest requests.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment within the park
  • Maintain condition and cleanliness of park facilities including amenities, camp kitchen, and play areas
  • Perform general grounds upkeep including landscaping, mowing, and litter removal
  • CARRY OUT REPAIRS AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE TASKS ON PARK ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES
  • Manage and maintain park equipment and tools
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
  • Previous experience in grounds keeping or a related field
  • Skilled in building and grounds maintenance tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to safely operate groundskeeping equipment and power tools
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work over a 7-day roster
  • Trade qualified is desirable
  • Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous
  • A current valid driver's licence is essential

This role involves extensive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
