About the PositionThis is a full-time opportunity to join our team as a contracts administrator. The successful candidate will be based at our head office in Port Melbourne, with occasional visits to job sites around Melbourne.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Understanding project requirements and customer needs.
- Reviewing, approving and negotiating contracts and contract terms.
- Preparing budgets, issuing purchase orders and verifying suppliers' invoices.
- Overseeing project finances, tasks and timelines.
- Providing weekly project reports and project forecasts.
- Supporting the operations manager/project manager/site foreman in managing project details, including program, schedule, deliverables and resources.
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have:
- A construction management or quantity surveying degree, diploma level or relevant experience in a similar field.
- High-level computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Project.
- Experience in contract administration.
- Knowledge of project planning, drawings and document management.
- Financial planning and budgeting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A full driver's license.
