Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform ADLs and IADLs.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals and develop effective intervention plans.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in professional development and receive regular supervision to ensure ongoing growth and improvement.
- Engage in group supervision and disability-specific workshops to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a paediatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
