Job Description

As a Freight Handler at FedEx Australia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centers. Your primary responsibility will be to safely manage and internally move consignments that come in and out of stations in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely manage and internally move consignments to ensure efficient turnaround times and meet customer service standards.
  • Label consignments properly for efficient routing and minimize delays.
  • Sort consignments to the correct delivery area to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Manage the opening and closing of trailers and assist with sealing to maintain a secure and organized work environment.
  • Manage the opening and closing of gates to ensure safe and secure access to the warehouse and distribution centers.
  • Manage the restraining and un-restraining of freight to prevent damage and ensure efficient movement.
