Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage a portfolio of large corporate and financial institutions clients, structuring, underwriting, negotiating and monitoring financing solutions for their businesses.

The Senior Associate will work closely with relationship and product teams to drive revenue growth and manage risk in our credit portfolio, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for responsible loan growth and mitigate potential losses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing credit strategies for designated client portfolios, including the negotiation and documentation of loan agreements and derivatives.
  • Leading internal discussions and completing credit approval memorandums that summarize the merits and risks of transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal control partners and external regulators to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior team members, including Credit Analysts and Associates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial and/or corporate lending environment, with a strong understanding of loans, trading and treasury products.
  • Strong credit risk analysis and conclusion-oriented analytical skills, with ability to manage complex transactions.
  • Able to independently lead diligence efforts, make approval recommendations, negotiate loan documentation and execute timely closings.
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of risk, support and business partners.
