Chief Financial Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at TwoScots Recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to take on new challenges and lead a small team in delivering high-quality financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the group finance team in meeting all group reporting deliverables and compliance requirements.
• Lead the team in owning and delivering consolidation and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Communicate financial performance to senior management and executives, including board reporting.
• Manage and coordinate the external audit process, maintaining strong relationships with auditors.
• Manage a small team of direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
• Work on process improvements and other ad-hoc requirements, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Project manage and work towards strict deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet business needs.

Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Experience with statutory reporting in a large, complex organisation is essential.
• Previous experience in a Big 4 highly regarded.
• Must have experience in managing a team previously.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior finance stakeholders and executives.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and improve finance processes.
• Must have a strong internal control and compliance understanding.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail & a driven work-ethic.
