Job Title: Support Partner

First & Great Support Services is a leading provider of support services for individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disability.

We are seeking an experienced Support Partner to join our team, providing daily living supports to promote independence and self-advocacy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting participants with daily tasks and activities
  • Supporting participants in accessing the community and developing life skills
  • Providing emotional support and advocacy as required

Key selection criteria include:

  • Ability to provide high-quality support and promote participant independence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Autistic clients, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to undertake additional training if required. We also require candidates to provide sufficient notice for all rostered shifts.

Responsibilities and duties include carrying out tasks as per the service delivery provided to the participants, following authority and other reasonable duties as instructed by the employer, and performing direct care duties for participants who require that support service.

As a Support Partner, you will be an integral member of our team, promoting equality and freedom of choice for individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disability. You will work closely with participants, families, and advocates to ensure that support services meet individual needs and preferences.
