We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team at Busways. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for preparing and cleaning vehicle surfaces for paint application, removing and repairing damaged panels, and ensuring the maintenance of spray-painting equipment and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake preparation and cleaning of vehicle surfaces prior to paint application
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels
- Maintain spray-painting equipment and tools
- Provide body structural, accident damage, and associated repairs, service, and maintenance to vehicles
- Manufacture, service, and fit vehicle components constructed from various materials
- Demonstrate and maintain clean workshop practices
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are performed according to company policies and procedures
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Sound level and demonstrated skills in a spray-painting role
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Sound level of verbal and written communication
- Experience in working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
- Ability to differentiate between colours and balance and layer colours
