Aeromedical Service Leader

Leading the Future of Aeromedical Services
The role involves shaping the direction of a world-renowned aeromedical service, overseeing the clinical workforce within Aeromedical Operations, and ensuring the delivery of contemporary, safe, and evidence-based critical care for prehospital and inter-hospital medical retrieval responses across NSW and the ACT.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the clinical workforce, driving the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Provide expert clinical advice to senior executives, driving strategic decision-making and policy development.
- Develop innovative work practices that enhance the delivery of aeromedical services, leveraging best practices and emerging trends.
- Forge strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and partnership.
- Experienced medical leader with expertise in managing complex clinical operations, preferably in pre-hospital and retrieval medicine (PHRM) and critical care settings.
- Hold registrable medical qualifications with AHPRA.
- Possess additional qualifications in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, or Anaesthesia.
- Meet eligibility for appointment as a Senior Staff Specialist under the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and engagement capabilities.
- Display a strong ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
