Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics Professional">

The role of the forklift operator is crucial in our warehouse operations, as it ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods to and from storage areas. We are seeking a skilled and experienced forklift driver who can lead with purpose and drive operational excellence.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, moving freight to and from storage areas, and ensuring that trucks are loaded in accordance with the load sheet. You must also ensure that stabilisation equipment is used as required and fridge motor temperatures are set correctly and checked prior to vehicle departure.

Responsibilities:

  • Moving freight to and from storage areas\
  • Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet\
  • Ensure use of stabilisation equipment\
  • Check fridge motor temperatures before vehicle departure\
  • Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution\
  • Work in freezer/ chiller environment\
  • Have experience in warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking\
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks\
  • Refrigeration experience preferred\
  • Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills\
  • Adhere to transport documentation\\/ul>
