Job Opportunity in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This hospital provides a comprehensive range of health services to the local community. The obstetrics and gynaecology department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with pregnancy-related complications, as well as those requiring general gynaecological care.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient outcomes. In addition to clinical duties, the registrar will also be involved in education and training activities, including teaching medical students and junior doctors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients
- Participating in on-call rosters and being available to attend emergency situations outside of normal working hours
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Conducting educational sessions and workshops for junior doctors and medical students
Requirements:
- Full general registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway
- At least 10 years of experience as an international medical graduate (IMG)
- Recent RANZCOG interview dates or outcome
