We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Solutions Specialist for our Mining NSW team, who will play a pivotal role in powering progress for our customers.

Location: This position requires extensive travel (50%) within NSW, with the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Job Summary: As an Energy Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful sales and marketing initiatives of both new and existing applications by delivering specialized technical support to the mining sales team.

About the Role:

The Energy Solutions Specialist will accelerate new product adoption, manage allocated budgets, and drive growth goals. Serving as a subject matter expert for new applications and solutions, you will provide tailored technical guidance and support to the business, both on customer sites and within depot locations. Responsibilities will span the entire spectrum of successful new sales, business development, and product introduction, including project design and site delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Transfer: Develop personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products and become a subject matter expert. Guide and influence local sales teams, transferring knowledge and building capabilities.
  • Technical Support and Customer Excellence: Elevate the business's customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries via the sales department.
  • Collaboration and Project Implementation: Liaise with Aggreko technicians and management to provide technical solutions for low and high-voltage applications.
  • Promote Green Solutions: Lead site and project delivery of hybridized and low-emission solutions, setting an example for greener upgrades and ensuring success for customers.
  • Technical Drawings: Interpret, modify, and analyze technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Aggreko HSE policies and procedures. Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and integration processes.
  • Formulate a technical application sales plan for the allocated region.
  • Regular customer visits in the allocated region to provide excellent customer feedback.

What We're Looking For:

We seek a candidate with robust technical proficiency, particularly in mining applications products, and familiarity with greener energy solutions and emerging industry trends. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, and basic project management skills are essential. In-depth understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration, as well as proficiency in coordinating installations of Aggreko energy solutions, are also required.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
