Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial accounting, reporting, and analytics under local and US GAAP.
- This role will oversee month-end and quarter-end reporting for Australian and New Zealand entities.
- The successful candidate will prepare and review financial statements, audit requirements, and regulatory returns.
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of audits and submitting timely filings.
You will also ensure intercompany agreements and accounting meet company policy and SOX requirements, maintaining strong controls over the general ledger.
Developing profit and loss and balance sheet analytics is another key aspect of this role.
You will review local balance sheet reconciliations and provide accurate and timely results and financial information.
Key skills required for this position include a qualified Accountant - CPA/CA with 7-8 years of experience in insurance industry knowledge.
Demonstrable financial accounting knowledge and skills are essential, as well as strong management skills and a desire to develop team members.
Experience leading a team in a remote environment and ability to manage numerous deadlines and prioritize workload are highly valued.
Effective liaison with internal and external audit, strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders, and attention to detail are all critical components of this role.
