Social Work Placement Expertise Required

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Education Coordinator to join our team at ACAP University College.

This role requires expertise in field education, including the development and delivery of placement programs, as well as strong academic liaison skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Education Development and Delivery
    • Support pre-placement planning, student allocations, and compliance with ASWEAS standards.
    • Lead fortnightly Field Education Seminars and pre-placement briefings.
    • Assist with training and development for Field Educators and Liaison Officers.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve placement challenges and provide external supervision as needed.
  • Academic Liaison Support
    • Oversee placement progress for 20 – 30 students per trimester.
    • Maintain communication with students and agencies, and provide ongoing support.
    • Review and provide feedback on student academic work and address concerns in consultation with the National Academic Lead.
  • Program Support
    • Assist in evaluating and improving the Field Education program.
    • Develop and maintain industry partnerships focused on social justice.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development.
