About the Role

We are seeking an Academic Researcher to join our team at the Institute for Ethics and Society. As a Research Associate, you will contribute to academic research in one of our key focus areas, such as Religion and Global Ethics.

You will be responsible for conducting high-quality research, collaborating with colleagues, and publishing outputs that meet ERA standards. In addition, you will manage the editorial process for Solidarity: The Journal of Catholic Social Thought and Secular Ethics.

Your duties will include:

  • Conducting research for current projects and developing new ones
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Commissioning articles, managing the editorial process, and publicizing the journal's work
  • Organizing meetings and liaising with advisory and editorial boards

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong track record of research publications, teaching experience, and a PhD or equivalent qualification. Ideally, you will have experience in securing research grants and industry-funded projects.
