Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a part-time Disability Services Coordinator to support our team in delivering inclusive experiences for young people with disabilities.

About the Role:

This role involves coordinating safe and engaging experiences, supporting the service delivery team, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for events and services, ensuring smooth transitions from design to delivery.
  • Manage documentation, files, and folders in a timely manner for use on services.
  • Develop detailed runsheets for service delivery teams to ensure effective execution of programs.
  • Contribute to risk management by assisting with venue and activity risk assessments.
  • Ensure all camps and programs operate in-line with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities related to processes and practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year's experience coordinating logistics for events or similar.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work across multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience working in a team and collaborating with others.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office & CRM systems).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or ability to acquire).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualification in Events or Recreation Management (or similar).
  • Experience and/or understanding of the needs of people living with a disability and their families/carers.
  • Relevant degree/qualification in disability/social work.
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Demonstrated understanding of NDIS Practice Standards.
