Customer Service Manager Role Overview

This key leadership position involves overseeing all customer service and support services in the NSW/ACT region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing operations and warehouse management systems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets its contractual obligations, operational expectations, performance measures, and financial management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all customer service operational needs and tasks across all NSW/ACT sites
  • Conduct storage services including inventory control, accuracy, and maintenance, as well as manage the distribution of stock items locally as required
  • Deliver support to customers undertaking activities in the field, including managing or operating a field storage area
  • Maintain engagement through nominated service counters
  • Manage security-protected assets

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing operations and warehouse management systems
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for an Australian AGSVA security clearance
  • Ability to lead teams across various warehouse operations and geographical locations, prioritizing safe work procedures and encouraging attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with previous defence warehousing and logistics experience highly desirable
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service and working with a team to resolve issues quickly
  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field
