Credit Risk Professional plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our credit portfolio by providing expert support to Relationship Managers and Risk Managers.

This role entails comprehensive credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, lending process optimization, internal and external reporting, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Manage credit exposure on a diverse portfolio of corporate clients;
  • Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, industry assessment, risk rating determination, structuring, and documentation for new and existing client credit transactions;
  • Prepare thorough and accurate credit review packages prior to submission for approval;
  • Foster partnerships with stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end lending processes;
  • Track market and industry developments and their impact on clients;
  • Verify and validate data for various credit monitoring and regulatory reporting requirements;
  • Assess risk effectively, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its assets and clients.

For this role, we seek candidates with 3-5+ years of experience in credit analysis or risk management, extensive knowledge of financial accounting, lending principles, loan structuring, and documentation. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • A sound understanding of products across Australian loan markets, trade, cash management, and derivatives;
  • The ability to articulate complex analysis with clear and concise written and verbal communication;
  • Good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams and tasks;
  • Self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail;
  • A team player ability to build relationships with different local, regional, and global teams.

A degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline is required.
