Support Professional Role

High-quality support is crucial for individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and reach greater independence. As a Support Professional, you will be part of a dedicated team that empowers participants to take control of their lives.

The role involves:

  • Building meaningful relationships with clients based on trust, understanding, and empathy.
  • Developing personalized plans to cater to clients' interests, skills, and abilities.
  • Providing individualized support to help clients meet their recovery journey objectives.
  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and transportation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Individual Support or Disability Care, accompanied by 12 months of experience or 2 years of full-time experience in the sector.
  • Understanding of mental health challenges faced by people with lived experience.
  • Current Driver's Licence with Reliable Vehicle & Comprehensive Insurance.
  • NDIS workers check screening Approval with Yellow and Blue Cards.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of the industry.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to support clients.
