**Clinical Counsellor Role Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced clinical counsellor to join our professional team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services.

The successful candidate will work with a large federal government agency focused on providing evidence-based approaches and proven clinical practices to meet client needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide expert clinical services including initial intake, assessment, and referral, individual, couple, and family counselling, and case management.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, collate and analyse data from client records, and prepare reports as required.

• Ensure quality assurance policy is adhered to for outreach counsellors in clinical practices.

• Participate in program evaluation and research activities, contributing to project management that implements strategic direction and quality improvement recommendations.

• Collaborate with other departments, organisations, and community health and welfare agencies.

**Requirements:**

• Current registration with AHPRA or AASW.

• Mandatory Working with Children and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance prior to commencement.

• Proven experience in a similar clinical role.

• Passion for clinical psychology and social work to support mental health initiatives.
