Job Overview

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer/Credit Controller to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Banking and allocations, including credit card payment, EFT, and cash banking
  • Collections of overdue payments and reduction of DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Providing customer service and investigating discrepancies promptly
  • Conducting regular risk reviews
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Reporting on numbers and disputes throughout the month
  • Dealing with mercantile agents where required
  • Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting, including journal entries

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and enjoy working in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Able to reduce DSOs and manage their own ledger
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
