This is a dynamic and engaging role that plays a vital part in driving the success of our finance team.

The Accounts Receivable Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance Department, focusing on the allocation of customer bank receipts to invoices within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. They will also assist branches with ad hoc Accounts Receivable matters, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing of credit note applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process credit note applications received from branches
  • Ensure timely and accurate credit authorisation process for all credit requests
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to address customer invoice queries
  • Maintain and update debtor module in ERP system
  • Perform cash allocations accurately and efficiently
  • Allocate customer payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify credit note application forms are approved in full
  • Guarantee information is readily available for correct customer payment actions
  • Upload TMHA invoices into customer systems/portals
  • Support branch Accounts Receivable teams as needed
  • Backup AP functions where required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role or industry
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionalities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • A strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis
