Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Windscreen Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced windscreen fitter to join our team in a lively country community. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of passenger, heavy vehicles and machinery, as well as extensive experience in flat glass cutting.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and possess excellent customer service skills. They will also be willing to work outdoors in an outback environment and have the ability to use initiative.

About the Role

  • Windscreen fitting and repair for passenger, heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Flat glass cutting and installation
  • Maintenance of a high level of customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and repair of windshields for passenger, heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Operation of flat glass cutting equipment
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian C class Licence
  • Broad knowledge of passenger, heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Extensive experience in flat glass cutting
  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Willingness to work outdoors in an outback environment
  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current work related references
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS
  • Random DAS during period of employment
