A unique chance exists for a skilled professional to provide high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care in the Royal Darwin Hospital Transit Lounge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to an allocated group of individuals.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and act as a valuable member.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, both physically, culturally, and psychosocially.
- Embody NTH values - safe; responsive; kind - in all decision-making and interactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to, coordinate patient care resulting in positive clinical outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to contribute effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
