We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Poultry Processing Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, grading, packing, and processing poultry products in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. As a Poultry Processing Associate, you will work closely with supervisors, quality assurance personnel, and other team members to ensure that all products meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing & Production: Perform various meat processing tasks, including cutting, grading, deboning, and packing poultry. Rotate through different workstations, such as packing, carton making, bird grading, and tub washing.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards, including HACCP requirements. Perform quality checks on meat products and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S): Follow all OH&S regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with supervisors and quality assurance personnel.
